I'm becoming more and more taken with these 'door pockets' as opposed to the traditional wreath. So easy and quick to assemble!
Ivy in a wire basket; I forgot about these Limoges roosters!
Flowers in the bathroom, too! The Headmaster just doesn't get this! And...thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for suggesting this great wire basket and vases on a recent post!
Rooster all nested up!
I used all white for serving; not necessarily matching, but complimenting.
'Copper' tub to hold beer on the courtyard.
Forgot I had these cushions for the chairs; they were perfect for the color scheme (I seem to be forgetting a whole lot)!!!
Flowers on the sideboard...
...and the shamrock which, mysteriously, is still alive!
Cocktail plates and forks in another wire basket (I'm a new wire junkie)
Guacamole; marinated vegetables; Buffalo chicken dip were served. I think I might even post those recipes on Foodie Friday next week (the Buffalo chicken dip was the hit of the evening)!
As they say, 'a good time was had by all!' Thank you for following this from start to finish; everything was done in time, the yard looked great and the house was clean! Will try to keep it that way!!!! Have a great weekend, everyone! (Now...on to the Mother's Day table!)
I'll be linking this to...
Love, love, love the door packet idea. What a great alternative to a wreath and it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynne! Sooooo much easier than assembling a wreath; this may be my new 'go to' door decoration!
